Privacy Policy  (The legal notice is located at the bottom of this page)
Last updated: 8 August 2026

The Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary (hereinafter “Duckionary”) is pleased that you are visiting our website. The protection of your personal data and data security are very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect during your visit to our website and in other processes referring to this Privacy Policy, and for which purposes such data is used.

Legal amendments or changes to our internal processes may require updates to this Privacy Policy. We therefore encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly. This Privacy Policy can be accessed, saved, and printed at any time.

The subpage of our party, which is registered in Austria, contains its own privacy policy with disclosures that apply to that subpage.

1. Principles of Data Processing

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, IP address, or user behavior. Information that cannot be linked to an individual (or only with disproportionate effort), for example through anonymization, does not constitute personal data.

The processing of personal data (e.g. collection, use, storage, or transfer) always requires a legal basis or your consent. Personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of processing has been fulfilled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Where personal data is processed to provide specific services, we inform you below about the nature, scope, purpose, legal basis, and storage duration of such processing.

When a prospective member applies for membership in Duckionary (also known as “citizenship”), they must provide personal information in an online form hosted by Jotform. This data is stored until the member passes away or the member informally requests the deletion of their data via email. This is strictly for internal membership administration purposes.

The same procedure applies to the forms for ceremonial positions in Duckionary, applications to become a representative, and the symbolic visa application.
