​REPRESENTATIONS

The Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary is neither recognized by any UN Member State, nor by any de facto state which is recognized by at least one UN Member State. This is the reason, why Duckionary does not have any Embassies or Consulates. Although many other Micronations do maintain Embassies or Consulates in an artistic satirical or symbolical manner, Duckionary decided to avoid these designations. This demonstrates professionalism and serves as a precaution against misunderstandings and potential conflicts. Even well-known de facto states, such as the Republic of Somaliland, do not maintain Embassies or Consulates in countries that do not diplomatically recognize them; instead, they maintain Representative Offices. The use of the term "Representative Office" is unproblematic; even private companies and NGOs can maintain Representative Offices.
