5th Declaration Day of Obscurium in Kiel

On the occasion of the fifth Declaration Day of the United Republic of Obscurium, a high-ranking delegation from Duckionary travelled to the far north to Kiel (Germany).

On Friday, 03.03.2023, a parade accompanied by festive music began in the afternoon and led along the shore of Kiel Bay to the new ceremonial territory of Obscurium. Flags and a small lectern were set up at the Free Protectorate of Flagpolis (MFG-5 Square). There were speeches by President Antonov, Supreme Judge Spiekermann, Archduke Arthur of Duckionary, Andriy-Ludwig of Belakray, Prince Phillip of Pibocip (not in person), Emperor Oscar I of Karnia-Ruthenia (not in person), Prince Luis Marcel of Atlia (not in person) and Chancellor Eisenreich of Bavaria (not in person).

After a few oaths had been taken, the assembled community went to a restaurant on the shore. There, over a formal dinner, diplomatic talks were held, medals awarded and gifts exchanged. The event was concluded with a small fireworks display.
