Unilateral Declaration on the relationship between the Republic of Austria and the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary

There are currently no official diplomatic relations between the Republic of Austria and the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary. Nonetheless there is a complex relationship between the two entities. As an Austrian-based micronation, the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary unconditionally recognizes the territorial integrety and sovereignity of the Republic of Austria. All Duckonian territories on Austrian territory shall be considered as ceremonial territory under full Austrian sovereignity. Our sovereign territory is Panagua. Additional sovereign or autonoumus territories might be aquired by peaceful means in the future. We see the constitionional order of the Republic of Austria as the best system that has until now been realized in a macronation. Because Austria made real of what so many political movements all over the world promised, but never realized. After WWI, Austria began to successfully pursue a Third Way, a true alternative to both western-style capitalism and eastern-style Socialism.
Based on a historical compromise between Catholic Social Teaching, Classical Liberalism and Austromarxism, the Republic of Austria unites aspects of a representative parliamentary democracy headed by a directly elected president who somehow functions as a substitute for the Emperor of the "good old days" with aspects of direct democracy and - through the Chambers for Workers and Employees - also of a council republic.
No other nation on planet earth has achieved that. So it is with sorrow that we see this unique Social Partership is under attack from various sides. With our NGO, the Duckological Society and our macronational political party, the Minority List of Austria - Danube Federation, we as an active part of Austrian Society defend the Constitution of the Republic of Austria. And even our ceremonial territories on Austrian shall add value to the rich culatural landscape of Austria.
Regarding our sovereign and autonomous territories we will only take what is given to us by peaceful means. Regarding Panagua we hold to position that all former sovereign powers of that territory - and of course there were some, including Austria-Hungary, have relinquished their claims over the territory of what is internationally known as Pocket 1. So Panagua is a sovereign territory of the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary. Nonetheless we seek to achieve full consent of our neighbours.
Although Serbia held de facto control over Pocket 1 through the now defunct Republic of Serbian Krajina, the Republic of Serbia has not shown any interest in regaining control over Pocket 1 since the Erdut Agreement of 1995. So the focus of our diplomatic efforts is the Republic of Croatia. In Croatia, there is a strong nostalgic sentiment for Austria-Hungary. For example, when Croatia regained its sovereignity, former Austro-Hungarian Crown Prince Otto Habsburg was immediately awarded Citizenship of the Republic of Croatia.
Building upon this positive legacy of our shared past, and in harmony with our Croatian and Serbian neighbors, we aim to develop Panagua as a place of the future - while simultaneously incorporating the positive aspects of the Austro-Hungarian past.
