Congratulations to our Serbian neighbors
On October 25, 2026, parliamentary elections were held in Serbia. It was a celebration of democracy. A living proof that democratic elections can indeed bring about a real change. The Student List, which emerged from the 2024-2026 Serbian anti-corruption protests, succeeded in winning an absolute majority in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on its very first attempt. We, the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary and the Minority List of Austria - Danube Federation, offer our heartfelt congratulations to the Student List on their electoral victory. Credit is also due to the Serbian Progressive Party, which ruled Serbia for around 14 years, for acknowledging the election results.
The acceptance of democratic election outcomes is (unfortunately) no longer a given these days. It is all the more remarkable that Serbia, a nation often treated with arrogance and disrespect by Western countries, has provided a wonderful example of a functioning democracy. In this sense, this election is a triumph for the entire Serbian people! Serbia has maintained a stance of benevolent neutrality toward the state-building projects in the four former Yugoslav enclaves located between Serbia and Croatia. We sincerely hope that the new Serbian government, led by the Student List, will continue this policy. A positive, friendly, and cooperative relationship with both Serbia and Croatia is in the best interest of the Free City of Panagua, the capital city of the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary.
